Marmaris Hamam

Marmaris bath also known as Marmaris Hamam is best for the tourists who always complain about long lasting headaches, excessive body weight, body pains or want to look fresh and young. It is guaranteed that after taking Marmaris Hamam the tourists will feel like they are newly-born persons. Once the tourists will go inside the Marmaris Hamam, they would see cubicles where they would be able to undress themselves while wrapping them into a towel which is called as pestemal and further would go into a special domed-shaped room called gobek-tasi or Stone of Belly for having a bath.

The room for taking bath is completely lined with heated marble and bench sates and each of the bench seats has a large table made up of marble with old fashioned taps and underneath each tape there is a saucepan-sized copper bowl. Everybody who is there in the room for taking bath must have to sit around the tables and would have to build up a good sweat that will open up all of his pores and will also soften his skin.

There is a facility of filling the bowls with lukewarm water from taps in case if the person taking bath has got too hot and can pour that water on all over his body to get relaxed. It is also a facility for the tourists that they can get the services of big muscular bath attendants who are waiting to rub them down. A person must have to lie down on a marble table and then the bath attendant will start to rub him starting from head to toe and this process of rubbing from upper side of the body till down is called as loofah.
The process of loofah may be embarrassing for the person who is being rubbed, but he must have to control himself because embarrassment is a normal thing. Loofah is embarrassing because it is the process that cleans the body of a person from dirt and makes him fresh, so a person must have to be aware of this fact before the start of loofah to keep himself under control.
